Produced between 1953 and 1954, this box contains a drawing of the contents on the front and is labeled as "A Moko Lesney product."
More commonly known as the "handwritten letter box," this style was only used for the first seven models (from 1 to 7a). The end flap was plain blue, with no other markings present.
It is named this way because the "Moko" company name appears in a handwritten font, in contrast to the Lesney company name, which is in block letters.
Only the first seven models were issued with this box. The word "MOKO" appears in handwritten lettering, while "LESNEY" is in block letters. All these models are quite rare.
